The Beer-Village Weißenbrunn
A paradise for beer-experts, ramblers and cyclists on the beer and castle road
The beer-village is situated along the beer and castle road (B 85), between Kulmbach and Kronach. The long distance trail "Frankenweg" and many additional circular routes and hiking paths lead across the landscape around Weißenbrunn. During the summer months, the little open air pool invites you to swim in a quiet and beautiful ambience. Cyclists may discover the Franconian Forest and the Upper Main Region due to the splendidly constructed cycling and hiking path network.
Only a few kilometers from Weißenbrunn, you may find the 18-hole golf course belonging to the golfing club of Kronach, which will make golfers' hearts beat faster.
The traditional parish fairs in September as well as many other events annually attract guests to Weißenbrunn. Special visitor magnets are the celebrations of the local clubs such as the "Brauer- & Büttnerfest", the field days or the local Christmas fair. These take place every year on the first Sunday in Advent in front of the wintery coulisse of the old guildhall and the Brauer- & Büttner-Museum in a street called Paradies.
